Mini Dental Implant Option
Mini Dental Implants (MDI) are most effective when used to stabilize dentures or a fixed bridge. Dentures can be uncomfortable and troublesome for many, but with this implant option, you can secure your dentures with the placement of MDI.
Mini Dental Implants require a minimally invasive surgery to anchor dentures or a fixed bridge. It is often possible to provide the complete MDI service in a single office visit.
How are they different?
Mini Dental Implants are much smaller than routine dental implant methods allowing for a shorter, simpler surgery and recovery. Since MDI are much smaller in diameter, they can be placed without opening the gum tissue resulting in reduced irritation and soreness after surgery. Mini Dental Implants are a less expensive type of implant surgery, and they are a great alternative to single dental implants for those who have significant bone loss.
